At the Iowa Innovation Corporation,
we’re looking at things differently.  We have to because the future of Iowa’s economy depends on it. We are building on years of public/private collaboration to grow Iowa’s innovation economy so that Iowa’s businesses have the infrastructure and talent to succeed.

That means we’re working with businesses, government, start-ups, existing companies, nonprofits, universities, community colleges and anyone in the business of creating jobs and growth to ensure we have the tools necessary to succeed.

During the past eight years, with thousands of hours of donated executive time and corporate money, the state’s largest employers and smallest start-ups have  created a lean economic development model for the 21st century economy. This focused and high performing economic development strategy for the  knowledge-based global economy accelerates the development of good ideas into bankable ventures to grow the state’s economy and attract talent.

And, that’s our focus. We are facilitators. We’re
committed to carrying on the great tradition of
Iowa innovation because it is a necessary part of
economic development.

The Iowa Innovation Corporation is a private non profit organization created to implement specific innovation strategies developed by the business community to achieve the following goals:

• Accelerate good ideas into bankable ventures

• Build partnerships to create a statewide sustainable innovation network
• Advocate for ongoing innovation-based for resources to grow Iowa’s economy
